LMP POWERBASE BUNDLE
The PowerBase Bundle is a docking station for the Game Boy (DMG-01) combined with a rechargeable battery pack system. It replaces disposable AA batteries with a dedicated rechargeable pack that fits directly into the Game Boy’s battery compartment.
The set includes a mains adaptor and a charging station, allowing you to recharge the battery pack conveniently at home. The adaptor can also power the Game Boy directly from the wall socket. An integrated LED indicator displays the charging or power status.
According to the packaging, the battery provides up to 10 hours of playtime on a single charge. The charging base additionally offers storage space for up to four Game Boy cartridges.
Manufactured under the LMP Gamester brand, the PowerBase offers a practical and cost-effective alternative to disposable batteries while adding a compact charging and storage solution to the classic handheld system.
The PowerBase was a commercial failure and was produced in limited quantities.
