Probably one of the rarest items available for the Game Boy Classic. The heavy duty battery was designed for the "Handy Game Machine". This was the name given to the Game Boy when it was released in Japan. Thus, it can be assumed that the battery was released shortly after the 1989 release of the Game Boy Classic.
