GAME BOY CLASSIC ITEM
GAME BOY™ CONSOLE GREEN - LIMITED EDITION (NOE)
The Game Boy was Nintendo's first portable console with interchangeable game cartridges. When the Game Boy saw the light of day in 1989, the console entered the market in a plain grey. Over the years, colourful variants of the housing were offered for sale. The Game Boy pictured here is from the "Limited Edition" series, which was offered in red, green, black, yellow, white, blue, and clear (transparent) cases.
The console has a directional pad, two action buttons (A, B) and a Start and Select button. The display is a monochrome LCD screen in green with no backlight. The console is powered by 4 standard AA batteries.
