GAME BOY CLASSIC ITEM
GAME BOY™ MARIO PICROSS

Mario no Picross, the Japanese original of one of the Game Boy’s most important cult puzzle games. What makes the Japanese version especially notable is that it was the market where the game actually succeeded, while the Western release underperformed so badly that Nintendo kept later Picross sequels in Japan for many years. For collectors, this makes the JPN edition historically significant: it represents the version from the territory where Nintendo’s early Picross formula first proved itself commercially.
