GAME BOY CLASSIC ITEM
GAME BOY™ YAKUMAN
Yakuman, the most hardware-significant of the Japanese launch titles because it was the first Game Boy game to use the Link Cable. That makes it far more important than a niche mahjong title might first suggest. It is also notable as a distinctly Japan-focused launch release developed by Intelligent Systems, built around mahjong rather than action or platforming, which sets it apart sharply from the more internationally familiar launch titles like Super Mario Land and Alleyway.
