Game Boy Fan was an independent Japanese Game Boy magazine whose first issue appeared in January 1990, with tips, tricks, reviews and product introductions.
This is that very first issue, an early example of the Japanese print culture that grew up around the Game Boy. Other early Japanese magazines are also catalogued in the collection.
